this is classic but ive done it before it is kinda easy though
Couldnt you take the rgain then the fox then the chicken?
sometime you get it in one guess
Take the chicken over come back get the fox and bring the fox over, Here is the tricky part, so the fox don’t eat the chicken bring the chicken back across put it down pick up the grain and bring it over with the fox. Last but not least now go back pick the chicken up and bring it over… All done!!!
why can’t you take the fox and the grain first and then go back and get the chicken. less trips.
…there’s more than one solution to this.
@Darren: thanks!
@noname: When you leave the fox with the chicken, soon there won’t be a chicken to take across…
Daniel,WHen You take the Grain Over,then the Fox would eat the CHicken.
first take the fox and then come back then take the grain bag. because fox wont eat grain .then come back and take the chicken.
@gwen If you take the fox over first, the chicken will eat the grain.
It’s a great logic puzzle, but I’ve always wondered… What was the farmer doing with the fox? I can understand needing a chicken or the grain… but what’s he gonna do with the fox?
